Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra appears with dual-camera for selfies

The Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra is expected to be announced soon and it was recently spotted on the Malaysian SIRIM certification database. Now we get a clear look at Sony’s new mid-range phablet and it looks like the first Xperia to come with a dual-camera setup.

According to this latest leak photos, the Xperia XA2 Ultra will get dual-selfie cameras that’s assisted with a front LED flashlight. For the first time on a Sony Xperia, it even has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. On their flagship models, the fingerprint sensor is usually embedded on the power button that’s placed at the sides.

Despite the trend of going FullView/18:9 display, Sony is still sticking to its traditional “Edge to Edge” 16:9 display like its current Xperia XA1 Ultra.

As revealed by GeekBench, the Xperia XA2 Ultra will get a 6″ Full HD display and it will run on a Snapdragon 630 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Out of the box, it gets Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. With its dual-front camera setup, the Xperia XA2 Ultra will go head-on against Samsung’s Galaxy A8+ (2018).
