You can buy Razer’s ultimate gaming smartphone in Malaysia for less than RM3,300

Looking for the ultimate smartphone for gaming? Grey importer, DirectD, is now offering the Razer phone in Malaysia and it costs slightly more than its Singapore price of SGD 1,068 (about RM 3,235).

To recap on the specs, the Razer phone features a 5.7” Quad HD (2560×1440) display that has a 120Hz UltraMotion refresh rate. This is just as high as Apple’s newest iPad Pro with ProMotion. For a more immersive gaming experience, it gets a pair of front-facing stereo speakers with dual amplifiers that are enhanced by Dolby Atmos.

Under the hood, you’ll find a top of the line Snapdragon 835 processor with 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of UFS storage. If that’s not enough, you can add a microSD card up to 2TB in capacity. The Razer phone also claims to come with the best in class thermal design which ensures you can keep playing at maximum performance with reduced throttling.

The device also gets a dual 12MP (f/1.75 + f/2.6) camera at the back with telephoto capabilities, while the front comes with a 8MP f/2.0 shooter. To keep gaming for longer hours, it comes with a 4,000mAh battery which supports QuickCharge 4+ via USB Type-C. Unfortunately, there’s no headphone jack but Razer is supplying a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter that has a THX certified DAC built-in.

The Razer phone can be yours at RM3,299 and it comes only in black. Obviously, these are import sets from Singapore and DirectD is covering it with their own 12-month in house warranty. If you’re interested, you can check out the Razer phone on DirectD’s website.
