The high-spec OPPO F5 with 6GB RAM has landed in Malaysia

Following the launch of the OPPO F5 series last month, OPPO Malaysia has finally introduced its premium F5 6GB variant that comes with more RAM and storage. To add more bling, they are also bundling a limited edition gift box for early bird pre-order customers.

Available in Black and Red, the OPPO F5 6GB is priced at RM1,698 which is RM400 more than the standard model. While the phone appears to be the same, this high-spec model comes with 6GB of RAM and a larger 64GB of storage that can be expanded further with a microSD card. As a comparison, the standard OPPO F5 comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB of storage.

Like the original model, it gets a 6″ Full HD+ (2160×1080) 18:9 display and it runs on a MediaTek Helio P23 Octa-Core processor. Over at the front, it comes with a 20MP f/2.0 selfie camera with AI beautification assist while the rear gets a 16MP f/1.8 shooter. It has a 3,200mAh battery and it runs on ColorOS 3.2 that’s based on Android 7.1 Nougat.

OPPO has also announced a special partnership with Swarovski and they are offering the first 1,000 F5 6GB Red Edition pre-order customers with a limited edition case with Swarovski crystals. Pre-orders for the OPPO F5 6GB Red edition will start today, 6 December at 12.30PM. It will be available at OPPO Concept Stores and on OPPO’s official website beginning 16 December 2017.
