iOS 11.2 Update Malaysia

Apple has finally released iOS 11.2 and every iPhone and iPad user should download this software update right away. Apart from new features, it also fixes a lot of bugs including the infamous calculator issue.

Apparently, iOS 11.2 was released ahead of schedule to fix a serious bug which causes the iPhone to crash or restart unexpectedly. One of the biggest updates for iOS 11.2 is peer to peer transaction for Apple Pay that won’t be available until next week. In countries where Apple Pay is supported, this feature will enable you to send money to your friends and contacts via iMessage. This can be seen as Cupertino’s effort to compete with the likes of WeChat Pay.

For iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus users, wireless charging is now faster with the latest update. You should see 50% faster charging if you have a compatible 7.5-watt fast charger. iOS 11.2 also brings 3 new Live wallpapers for the iPhone X and it also improves its video camera stabilisation.

If you rely on your iPhone for calculation, they have finally fixed an issue where typing rapidly could lead to incorrect answers. If you haven’t received any notification, you can get iOS 11.2 by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
