Now that all of Apple‘s 2017 lineup of iPhones have all been released, the rumours surrounding their next batch of phones are starting to surface, and it seems that they’ve already got three new iPhone X-esque devices in the works.
Recently, a report about Apple’s new smartphones has been released by Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities about the phones he expects Apple to reveal next year. Looking at the image, you’ll see that Apple is sticking to the iPhone X’s bezel-less design, complete with the notch. As such, all of Apple’s phones for the year will be sporting similar looks, have a TrueDepth camera system up front, but won’t have a fingerprint sensor.
The two models with the OLED panels will have the same internals (top of the line, to boot), while the smallest of the three will be the same size as the iPhone X. The super-huge 6.5 inch device will have an even higher resolution than the iPhone X, with the company aiming for up to 500ppi pixel density.
There will be an entry-level smartphone as well, being the 6.1″ iPhone with an LCD screen which has a smaller pixel density and is lower-res than its’ siblings. The price estimate for this one is about $649-$749, and will likely take a hit in the specs or materials department for the sake of it being more affordable.
Of course, while Kuo is pretty reliable, do take the info with a grain of salt as none of it has been officially confirmed at this point, and might still very well change in the future.
