Xiaomi has just revealed a new variant of their Mi Note 3 smartphone, and it’s dedicated to a singer to mark his 27th birthday.
But it seems that the variant is only different from the vanilla Mi Note 3 in terms of looks and some other minor details.
The variant is emblazoned with the name of Kris Wu (also known as Wu Yifan) on the back of the device and that’s where the major differences between the models ends. In terms of its innards, it’s exactly the same as the regular version of the Mi Note 3 but it sports a custom UI and themes revolving around the singer, who also was the face of the brand when the smartphone initially launched.
As for specs, it will have a 5.5″ Full HD screen, Snapdragon 660 processor, 6GB RAM and either 64GB/128GB eMMC 5.1 storage as well as a 12MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture and 4-axis Optical Image Stabilisation, with the secondary camera being a 12MP with f/2.6 shooter with 2X optical zoom.
The device is available for purchase in China, but if you’re a fan you’ll probably be able to snag one via the grey import market.
