Lenovo Malaysia has officially announced the arrival of the Moto G5s Plus in Malaysia. This is their updated mid-range smartphone that now comes with a larger screen and dual cameras.
The G5s Plus is priced at RM999 and that’s lower than the original Moto G5 Plus which was launched at RM1,299. It will come in two colours – Lunar Gray and Blush Gold.
To recap on the specs, the Moto G5s Plus has a 5.5″ Full HD display (Moto G5 Plus: 5.2” Full HD) and it is still running on a Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB of RAM. It has 32GB of on-board storage which is expandable via microSD.
New on the Moto G5s Plus is its dual 13MP f/2.0 camera system. One shoots in RGB while the other shoots in monochrome. With this setup, you can take depth effects which include bokeh, selective Black and White, and background removal. On the front, you’ll find an 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera with its own LED flash.
Juicing up the device is a 3,000mAh battery which still charges via microUSB. It supports Motorola’s TurboPower charging that is rated to push 6 hours of battery life with a 15-minute charge. Out of the box, it runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with Moto Experiences.
The Moto G5s Plus will be available starting today. You can order online from Lazada Malaysia as well as authorised Motorola retailers and brand stores nationwide.
For those who purchase via their official Online Store on Lazada between 6-11 November are entitled to redeem freebies worth RM587 consisting of extended warranty, accidental damage protection and Motorola Pulse 2 headphones.
