Razer isn’t exactly known for smartphones, but with the company recently acquiring Nextbit, a Razer smartphone was pretty much an eventuality. With this new leak, we get another glimpse at Razer’s mobile phone, complete with specifications.
The leak was released by British mobile provider 3G UK, and despite the potato photo, it was revealed that the phone will be packing quite a punch.
According to the listed specs, the Razer device will have 8GB RAM, 64GB storage, a humongous 4,000mAh battery (with Quallcomm Quick Charge 4,0+), THX-certified dual front facing speakers with Dolby Atmos on top of a 120Hz 5.72″ IGZO display. The dual cameras consist of a 12MP f/1.75 wide-angle sensor and a 13MP f/2.6 zoom unit. The phone will also feature something called 4G Super-Voice, and that’s probably something to prevent coverage dead zones.
The phone appears to be running on a stock version of Android (or maybe it is just lightly skinned, based on the photo) and of course, the phone is l33t, cause Razer has a sense of humour.
Awhile back, an image popped up of the alleged phone that showed off its dual cameras.
Some specs of the phone aren’t listed, but based on a a GFXBench page that appeared a few weeks ago, indicates that the Razer Phone will sport a Snapdragon 835, 7MP front shooter, Android 7.1.1 Nougat as well as a 1440p display.
Also, since Razer did in fact become an official partner with 3G UK, it’s pretty safe to assume the specs are legit. Razer’s expected to drop something pretty big tomorrow, and it wouldn’t surprise us if this phone is part of the big reveal.
