Samsung Galaxy Note FE will be available for pre-order in Malaysia tomorrow

Malaysia is the first market outside of South Korea to get the Samsung Galaxy Note FE. But, if you can’t wait until the end of the month to secure your Galaxy Note FE, there’s good news: Samsung Malaysia is opening pre-orders for this device tomorrow!

Samsung Malaysia Electronics has revealed that they will be holding a pre-order for the Samsung Galaxy Note FE from the 18th to the 24th of October 2017. The device is set to officially go on sale on the 25th of October 2017.

Customers who pre-order the Galaxy Note FE will receive a 1-year extended warranty plus a 1-year screen protection plan. However, to receive the pre-order promotions, you will have to collect your smartphone at selected Samsung Experience Stores and Authorised Dealers, then proceed to activate your mySamsung ownership account from the 25th to 31st October.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note FE (stands for Fan Edition) is priced at RM2,599. There’s only one colour available for pre-order — Black Onyx — and the device will be available in limited quantities.

Unfortunately, you can’t pre-order this device online. You will have to go to selected Samsung Experience Stores and authorised dealers to place your pre-order. A deposit of RM100 is required. Then, you can collect your device on the 25th of October and pay the balance.

The Note FE has roughly the same specs as last year’s Galaxy Note7 barring the smaller 3,200 mAh battery. That means you get a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, an Exynos 8890 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There’s a 12MP f/1.7 aperture Dual Pixel camera for photos with a 5MP shooter in front for selfies. It is also IP68 dust and water resistant and will come running Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

For more info on this pre-order, you can call the Samsung Careline at 1-800-22-8899.
