Everything you need to know about the Huawei Mate 10 Malaysian pre-order

Huawei Malaysia has finally revealed the pricing and pre-order details of their brand new Mate 10 line of smartphones. Here’s everything you need to know.

First up, Huawei’s bringing in the Mate 10 into Malaysia first and it is set to go on sale on the 28th of October 2017. Before that, the company will be holding a pre-order for the smartphone that will run from the 19th to the 22nd of October 2017. The phone is priced at RM2,699 and customers can pick between two colours during the pre-order: Mocha Brown and Black. Champagne Gold will only be available for in-store purchases.

Customers who pre-order this smartphone will also receive an exclusive goodie bag worth RM999. The goodie bag contains a Body Scale, a Mate 10 Premium Gift Box (SuperCharge car charger + cable, Bluetooth tripod Selfie Stick), and a VIP Service card that offers 3 months one-to-one replacement for screen damage, 1-year warranty including door-to-door delivery service.

Pre-orders can be made through Vmall.my, 3ex.com.my, or at Huawei Experience Stores and Display Zones nationwide. You can also pre-order via telcos (Maxis, Celcom, Digi) and Senheng. There will be 10,000 units available for pre-order and customers who are interested will need to pay an RM300 deposit. You can then collect your devices on the launch day itself once you pay the price difference minus the RM300 deposit.

Next, we have the Mate 10 Pro, but unfortunately, Huawei still won’t reveal how much the device will be priced here in Malaysia beyond the fact that it will be lower than the RM3,399 price tag that the Mate 9 Pro launched with. It will definitely come to Malaysia, however, and we think it should arrive within the same kind of time frame that the Mate 9 Pro did (1 month after the launch of the Mate 9).

What Huawei can tell us, however, is that the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 will also be landing in Malaysia with a juicy price tag of RM6,999 — the same retail price of last year’s Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9. It will arrive in Malaysia at the same time as the Mate 10 Pro and there will be about 2,000 units available for purchase.
