The near bezel-less OPPO F5 is coming to Malaysia

The OPPO R11 might take a while before it hits Malaysia. Coming up next is the OPPO F5, its new selfie-centric smartphone that features a near-bezel-less display. OPPO Malaysia has just released a teaser that it’s coming very soon to our shores.

So far there are no launch dates provided for the OPPO F5 Malaysian launch but we do know that it would be making its debut in the Philippines on the 26 October, followed by an Indian launch on 2 November.

In terms of specs, the OPPO F5 is expected to come with a 6″ edge to edge “Full View” display and it could be running on a Snapdragon 660 processor. Some speculated that it may come with a dual-front camera setup but so far there appears to be one camera in an early promo video as captured above. It might feature a 20MP front camera and a main 16MP shooter.

Powering the OPPO F5 is said to be a large 4,000mAh battery. All shall be revealed next week when it is officially announced in the Philippines. The OPPO F5 will definitely go head on with the Huawei Nova 2i which recently went on sale with a competitive RM1,299 price tag.
