The honor 6A Pro has been confirmed to be honor Malaysia’s upcoming budget smartphone. Retailer DirectD has started accepting pre-orders for the device and it will be on sale in less than week from now.
To recap, the honor 6A Pro is a 5″ smartphone that pushes a HD 720p resolution and it runs on a modest Snapdragon 430 processor. Since this is the “Pro” version, it comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage which is expandable via microSD.
It has a 13MP main camera with PDAF while the front comes with a 5MP selfie shooter. Powering the device is a 3,020mAh battery which charges via microUSB. Out of the box, it runs on EMUI 5.1 that’s based on Android 7.0.
The honor 6A Pro is officially priced at RM699 which is lower than Europe and India’s pricing. You can pre-order now from DirectD with stocks expected to arrive next week, 17 October.
If you’re looking for something better, you might want to consider the honor 5C that comes with a better 5.2″ Full HD display and mid-range Kirin 650 processor. Originally priced at RM799, the honor 5C is now going from as low as RM549. The only downside is that it comes with just 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage.
