You can get the Huawei Mate 9 Pro for under RM2,300

Huawei will be revealing the Mate 10 very soon but that also means you can get great deals on its current flagship models. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is now going for only RM2,289 and that’s over RM1,100 off its original price when it was first introduced in Malaysia.

To recap, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro gets a 5.5″ dual-curved Quad HD AMOLED display and it runs on a Kirin 960 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. It has a dual-camera system co-developed by LEICA consisting of a 20MP monochrome + 12MP RGB sensor. Powering the Mate 9 Pro is a 4,000mAh battery and it charges with Huawei’s SuperCharge power brick via USB Type-C.

If you’re interested, you can find this RM2,289 Mate 9 Pro offer on Lazada. This listing is fulfiled by Lazada themselves and it comes in either Gold or Grey.

UPDATE: It appears that Lazada has stopped offering the Mate 9 Pro at RM2,289 and they have changed the price to RM3,229. There are other retailers selling the Mate 9 Pro from as low as RM2,349 on Lazada.

Huawei P10 Plus

Alternatively, you could consider the newer Huawei P10 Plus. It also gets a 5.5″ Quad HD display, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. On top of that, it has a better SUMMILUX-H f/1.8 lens and it’s going for RM2,269 over at Lazada.
