OFFICIAL: iPhone 8 available in Malaysia on 20 October

This is it people! The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be officially available in Malaysia on 20 October 2017. Announced on 12 September 2017, the iPhone 8/8 Plus are the upgraded successors of last year’s iPhone 7/7 Plus.

The pricing is yet to be revealed but pre-orders in Malaysia will start next Friday, 13 October at 12.01am and it will be available on 20 October at 12.01am. Apart from the official online Apple Store, the iPhone 8 will also be available through our telcos and authorised Apple resellers. In case you missed it, here’s how much we think the iPhone 8/8 Plus would be in Malaysia.

The iPhone 8/8 Plus are quite similar to the iPhone 7/7 Plus. Both retains the same display sizes of 4.7” and 5.5” but with added support for TrueTone adaptive display. To support wireless charging, the iPhone 8/8 Plus uses glass for the rear instead of aluminium.

While the camera specs appear to be similar to its previous model, Apple has fitted new image sensors which puts it at the top spot by DxOMark mobile. As you would expect, both iPhone models will be rocking Apple’s latest A11 Bionic chip which is the same unit that’s powering the iPhone X. You can learn more about the iPhone 8 in our announcement post.

If you’re looking for their top of the line iPhone X, it would be available later this year beginning 3 November in first wave countries.
