Huawei’s selfie-centric Nova 2 Plus gets a RM300 price cut

Huawei’s 20MP selfie-superstar, the Nova 2 Plus is getting a significant price cut of RM300. Originally launched at RM1,999 in Malaysia, the Nova 2 Plus can be yours for only RM1,699.

To recap, the Nova 2 Plus is Huawei’s answer to the selfie-centric smartphones from OPPO and vivo. It features a 5.5″ Full HD display encased in a premium full metal unibody. Powering the device is a mid-range Kirin 659 processor and it comes with 4GB RAM and a whopping 128GB of storage.

Over at the rear, it comes with a dual-camera setup comprising of a 12MP main camera and a secondary 8MP telephoto unit. Boasting its selfie credentials is its front-facing 20MP camera that comes with a host of beautification features. The Nova 2 Plus is juiced up by a 3,340mAh battery which charges via USB Type-C. At its time of release, it runs on Android 7.0 with its EMUI 5.1 skin on top.
