Uber Malaysia is starting a food delivery service very soon

UPDATE: UberEATS has gone live in Kuala Lumpur.

First, they provided rides on demand. Next, Uber is going to deliver food straight to your doorstep right here in Malaysia. Get ready folks, it looks like UberEATS is launching very soon in the Klang Valley.

Available in 60 cities including Tokyo, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok, UberEATS lets you order meals with the same convenience as ordering a car. You can choose your favourite dishes and have it delivered it to you immediately. It appears that Uber Malaysia is conducting some trials right now as some UberEATS delivery guys were spotted at an eatery in Bangsar. Instead of cars, your food will be delivered quicker on a motorbike.

When we download the UberEATS app, we can see a visible service area around Kuala Lumpur but unfortunately, we can’t seem to request when we put in any KL addresses. All we know is that a Malaysian launch should be happening real soon.
