Following their new online store for laptops, Lenovo Malaysia has finally introduced a similar platform for its Motorola smartphone business. The new Lazada-based online store offers the full range of Motorola products from the Moto C to Moto Z.
As an opening promo, the mid-range Moto G5 Plus that’s currently priced at RM1,299 will be going for only RM999 exclusively on their online store. In addition, it also comes with free gifts (premium backpack, Moto touch flip cover, extended warranty and accidental damage plan) worth up to RM647. This offer will be available from 10:00am on Monday, 28 August until 11:59pm on Merdeka Day, 31 August 2017.
To recap, the Moto G5 Plus is a 5.2″ Full HD smartphone that is powered by a proven Snapdragon 625 processor that’s mated to 4GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of storage which you can expand via microSD. Behind its metal back is a 12MP f/1.7 main camera with dual-pixel auto focus while the front comes with a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera.
The front also gets a fingerprint sensor while the earpiece doubles up as a front-facing loud speaker. Powering the device is 3,000mAh battery which supports Moto’s TurboPower charging. You can learn more about the Moto G5 Plus in our review.
If you’re looking for something different, the Moto Z2 Play is also available at RM1,999 on the Motorola Malaysia online store. They are bundling free 2nd year extended warranty with an accident damage plan.
