Digi new Family Postpaid Plan 2017

Digi has just announced its new Family Plans which now offer more data and it’s far less complicated than before. Designed for a family of 3 to 5 members, all lines will get unlimited calls and up to 120GB of shareable data.

There are just two options – a RM150 plan that comes with 2 free supplementary lines and a higher RM250 option with 4 free supplementary lines. Whichever option you pick, it will cost just RM50 per family member each month. The only difference is the amount of data where you get a shareable 60GB for Family 150 and 120GB for Family 250 which calculates to an average of 20GB/person and 24GB/person respectively.

All lines will get unlimited calls to all networks and 300 SMS per month. For the principal line, you’ll get free “Roam Like Home” where you get 5GB of data and 60 minutes of calls to use in 8 selected countries. Other family lines are able to subscribe to this roaming add-on at RM30/month.

However, do take note that Digi splits its data quota by weekday and weekend. So that means you’ll get 30GB of all-day data and 30GB of weekend data on Family 150 plan. The weekend data is applicable on either 4G/3G networks and you can utilise it fully on any weekend without restrictions.

If you need more data, you can top up 5GB for RM15 or 10GB at RM25. These shareable data top ups are valid for 30 days and you can share this with all family members. Like most family plans, the principal account holder can allocate the amount of data for each line through the myDigi app.

This offer is available for a limited time and you can only subscribe through their physical Digi Store. For extra savings, Digi is offering 5% off for the next 6 months if you enable auto billing via credit card.
