OnePlus 5 new colour

The OnePlus 5 is kinda like a Ford Model T where in one period of time you can have it in any colour as long as it’s black. The flagship smartphone came in either Slate Grey or in Midnight Black which looked rather similar. If black or dark grey is not your cup of tea, OnePlus will be offering a new colour for the OnePlus 5 and it’s coming real soon.

On the Amazon India OnePlus 5 page, someone had spotted a line of code which reveals the new colour option for the OnePlus 5. As shown below, it looks like the OnePlus 5 will soon be available in Gold.

If you’re not convinced, the new colour was also listed alongside its current black and grey colours for the OnePlus 5 on China’s TENAA certification database. Since black appears to be masculine, the gold OnePlus 5 might be more appealing for the ladies.

In case you missed it, you can check out our full review of the OnePlus 5. In Malaysia, it is officially priced at RM2,388 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model and RM2,688 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option.
