Hotlink Super Prepaid gives you 30GB of “Internet Larut Malam”

For the nocturnal internet users, Hotlink now has a prepaid plan that comes with its very own “Burung Hantu” internet feature. With their Hotlink Super Prepaid, you can get 1GB of high-speed “Internet Larut Malam” each night plus 1GB of high-speed internet everyday with their current Hotlink Happy Hour promotion. That’s a whopping 60GB of free high-speed internet each month.

As long as you’re an active user, you’ll get 1GB of high-speed data to use between 1AM to 9AM daily. If a Happy Hour pass is activated between 7AM to 9AM, that would be utilised first before it uses your remaining Internet Larut Malam data.

Unlike Hotlink’s other prepaid plans, the extra 8GB 4G weekend data on this plan isn’t given for free as it requires an accumulative top up of RM15/week for activation. As always, the Free 1GB/day Happy Hour pass is only applicable on their selected monthly (RM70, RM50, RM30) or weekly (RM10) plans. You can activate this between 7AM to 7PM via the Hotlink Red App.

The data plans are slightly different too as it now gets a lower RM20/month option for 500MB data and a higher RM70/month plan with 8GB data + 100 minutes of calls. The RM38/month plan with 3GB of data is not available with Hotlink Super.

This Hotlink Super Prepaid is basically a newer version of their Hotlink Super IDD Prepaid, designed for the migrant market. The plan also comes with extra perks for migrant users with free IDD minutes to Indonesia, Bangladesh and Philippines when they top up. You can check out the specific Super Prepaid pages for Indonesia, Bangladesh and Philippines.

Take note that once you’ve activated this prepaid SIM, you can’t migrate to other Hotlink plans such as #Hotlink or Hotlink FAST. Existing Hotlink SuperIDD plan users can switch to this “Hotlink Super 2.0 Plan” with a RM1 fee.

The Hotlink Super starter pack costs RM10 and it comes with RM5 of credit that’s valid for 5 days. Also included is 300MB of bundled high-speed data which is valid for 2 days. Calls are charged at 12 sen/30 seconds while SMS costs 12 sen each to all networks. The Plan also comes with Activ10 where you can get a special rate of 6sen/30 sec for calls and 1 sen/SMS for 10 friends on Hotlink/Maxis network. Once you’ve depleted your data, you can still stay connected on social chat apps at throttled 64kbps speeds.
