Buy a Redmi 4X and get a fast charging powerbank for free

In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Merdeka celebration, Xiaomi Malaysia is offering a special bundle promo for its entry-level Redmi 4X smartphone. Originally announced at RM679, the Redmi 4X can be yours at RM649 and it comes with a free fast charging powerbank worth RM85.

To refresh your memory, the Redmi 4X is a budget device that comes with a 5″ HD 720p display encased in a metal body. It is powered by a Snapdragon 435 Octa-Core processor mated to 3GB of RAM and has 32GB of onboard storage. This is a dual-SIM device and it accepts microSD card expansion which takes up its 2nd SIM slot.

The Redmi 4X comes with a 13MP f/2.0 main camera and a 5MP f/2.2 front shooter. There’s also a fingerprint sensor at the back and it comes with a large 4,100mAh battery. In terms of colours, the Redmi 4X is available in either Gold or Black.

With this special bundle, Xiaomi is offering its 10,000mAh Mi Powerbank 2 for free. This is a 2-way fast charging power bank that supports higher 9V and 12V for both input and output. While it looks similar to the more expensive Mi PowerBank Pro, this version is thicker and it uses microUSB input instead of USB Type-C.

If you’re interested, you can place your Redmi 4X order over at Xiaomi’s official online store on Lazada.
