Nubia Z17: The Snapdragon 835 flagship smartphone with 8GB RAM is coming to Malaysia this August

Nubia, ZTE’s sub-brand has officially entered the Malaysian market. At its official launch today, nubia has also shared that their newest flagship, the nubia Z17 will be coming to Malaysia very soon. This is the world’s first Snapdragon 835 flagship smartphone with 8GB RAM and it’s also the first to feature Qualcomm’s newest QuickCharge 4+ fast charging technology.

While having the latest hardware and charging technology, it features a 5.5″ Full HD display and it also comes with 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. At the rear, it gets a dual-camera system (23MP + 12MP) and powering the device is a 3,200mAh battery.

With its NeoCharge Quick Charging feature that’s based on Quick Charge 4+, the Z17 can be charged up to 50% in just 20 minutes. While such charging speed is impressive, the Quick Charge 4+ charging brick isn’t available yet, so you might need to get the faster charger separately once it is available. You can learn more about the device here. In China, the nubia Z17 is officially priced at 3,999CNY which is about RM2,507.

According to nubia Malaysia, the Z17 is targeted to arrive on our shores in August which is about two months away from now. For now, their top of the line offering in Malaysia is the nubia Z11 which is currently going for RM1,899. It comes with a 5.5″ Full HD display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

On the other hand, OnePlus will be unveiling their OnePlus 5 flagship smartphone very soon. That also runs on a Snapdragon 835 processor with 8GB of RAM. Which do you think will reach Malaysia first?
