You can get the BlackBerry KEYone in Malaysia before Hari Raya

The BlackBerry KEYone was open for pre-order in Malaysia since last month. If you’re planning to get one, authorised distributor Brightstar has finally confirmed its availability and you can pick one up before the Raya holidays.

The BlackBerry KEYone officially priced at RM2,688 will finally go on sale next week on 20 June 2017. It will be available nationwide through Brightstar’s network of dealers and alternatively, you can get it online through Lazada and 11street.

To recap, the KEYone is considered the last device designed by BlackBerry and it runs on the latest Android 7.1 Nougat. Apart from having DTEK security, the KEYone also promises regular software updates to keep your device secure at all times. It gets a 4.5″ 1620×1080 display and a full BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard which doubles as a trackpad while the fingerprint sensor is hidden underneath the spacebar.

Under the hood, it runs on a Snapdragon 625 processor mated to 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of on-board storage that’s expandable with microSD.

For imaging, it gets a 12MP f/2.0 main camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. Juicing up the KEYone is a 3,505mAh battery which charges via USB Type-C with QuickCharge 3.0 support.
