BlackBerry KEYone: The last phone designed by BlackBerry is now available for pre-order

Fancy an Android smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard typing experience? The BlackBerry KEYone has finally arrived in Malaysia.

Available for pre-order, the BlackBerry KEYone is officially priced at RM2,688 and according to DirectD, stocks will be available by end of May 2017. As a special promo, retailer DirectD is also offering a FREE Original JBL T450BT Wireless On-Ear bluetooth headset.

The KEYone can be considered the final true BlackBerry device and it comes with a full QWERTY keyboard along with a 4.5″ 1620×1080 display. Under the hood, it runs on a Snapdragon 625 processor mated to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD.

The KEYone also gets a 12MP f/2.0 main camera with PDAF while the front gets an 8MP selfie shooter. Powering the device is a 3,505mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 via USB Type-C. The QWERTY keyboard is also touch sensitive like the BlackBerry PRIV while the spacebar doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. Out of the box, it runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and it comes with a host of BlackBerry apps.

At the moment, the BlackBerry KEYone is available via DirectD, Lazada Malaysia and 11street.
