The OPPO R9s now comes in black. Pre-orders now available in Malaysia.

The OPPO R9s is now getting a touch of elegance with the arrival of its Black Edition in Malaysia. To mark its introduction, OPPO has also announced Neelofa as their ambassador for the new Black edition phone.

The Black edition R9s retains the same hardware as the current model. To stand out, it gets a matte black finish with a silver OPPO logo at the rear. It also gets a black six-string antenna line treatment for a sleek stealth appearance.

To recap on the specs, the OPPO R9s gets a 5.5″ Full HD AMOLED display and it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD.

For taking pictures, it features a 16MP f/1.7 main camera (Sony IMX398) with Dual PDAF focusing technology while the front gets a 16MP f/2.0 selfie shooter. Keeping the device powered is a 3,010mAh battery which can be charged quickly with its VOOC Flash Charger.

The OPPO R9s Black Edition is priced at RM1,828 and you can pre-order starting today, 3 May until 9 May 2017. For those that place their pre-order will be getting a complimentary Now 2 Smart Band worth RM199. It is also available through OPPO Concept Stores, authorised electronic chain stores, e-commerce outlets and partner telcos. The device will be available nationwide starting 10 May 2017.
