The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has finally arrived in Malaysia. This is the successor of the original Mi Note and it’s currently their top of the line phablet with a dual-curved display.
The Mi Note 2 is officially priced at RM2,499 and it is the most expensive smartphone offered officially by Xiaomi Malaysia. Unlike its previous models, Xiaomi is offering its top of the line model that comes with global LTE bands, 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. In China, the high-spec Global version of the Mi Note 2 is going for 3499CNY which is about MYR2,205 with our current exchange rate.
The Mi Note 2 features a 5.7″ Full HD OLED display and it runs on a Snapdragon 821 processor. For taking pictures, it gets a 22.56MP Sony camera with PDAF and it is capable of shooting 4K videos. For selfies, it has an 8MP front camera with auto focus. Powering the Mi Note 2 is a 4,070mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0 via USB Type-C. You can learn more in our first impressions.
The Mi Note 2 will be available on the official Mi Store on Lazada, authorised Mi Reseller Store (Penang) and other authorised outlets nationwide beginning this Saturday, 29 April 2017.
