A look back at Samsung’s iconic Galaxy S line

Legacies aren’t built overnight. It takes time, effort and the ability to take a step back to really see what’s working or what isn’t. You can see this in all great legacies in life.

In the smartphone world, however, few demonstrate this better than Samsung’s Galaxy S line. We take a look at what Samsung has done over the past 7 years to build this incredible legacy for themselves.

Now the biggest question on everyone’s mind is “What’s next?”. Well, that would be the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. The thing I’m most looking forward to is their take on the big screen in a small phone idea by switching up the aspect ratio to 18:9 instead of 16:9.

We first saw this on LG’s G6, but that phone still had bezels running along the side of it. And if Samsung’s marketing material is to be believed, the new S8 won’t — at least not in a way that you’d notice.

What about you guys? What’s the thing you’re most excited to see on the Galaxy S8? Let me know in the comments below!

Also, let me know which was your favourite Galaxy S device!
