You can get the LG G6 in Malaysia but it will cost you a bomb

The LG G6 is probably the most interesting smartphone to be launched at MWC 2017. It has a wide 5.7″ Quad HD display which feels small in the hands thanks to its Full Vision display that uses a 18:9 display aspect ratio.

If you can’t wait for LG Malaysia, the G6 is finally here but with a massive price tag.

Grey importer DirectD is now offering imported LG G6 (G600) from Korea. Available in 3 colours – Astro Black, Ice Platinum and Mystic White, the LG G6 can be yours for RM3,899. That’s more expensive than an iPhone 7 Plus with 128GB of storage.

To refresh your memory, the LG G6 runs on a Snapdragon 821 processor and it has 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage via its hybrid dual-SIM slot. The rear gets a pair of 13MP cameras for normal and wide angle shots, while the front gets a 5MP selfie shooter.

The LG G6 no longer has a removable back and it gets a 3,300mAh battery which charges quickly via USB Type-C. It’s also water resistant with IP68 rating and onboard it comes with a HiFi Quad DAC. For better visual enjoyment, the 5.7″ Quad HD LCD screen is the first on a smartphone with Dolby Vision and HDR 10 support.
