You can now pre-order the honor 6x in Malaysia

Just as expected, the honor 6X is now available for pre-order in Malaysia. The new mid-range device with dual camera lens is priced at RM1,199 and you can secure your unit via Lazada Malaysia.

UPDATE: honor 6X 3GB RAM + 32GB storage is priced at RM1,199 while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version is priced at RM1,399. The 4GB RAM version will be available on 6 March 2017.

Succeeding the honor 5X, the new honor 6X features a 5.5″ Full HD display and it runs on their in-house developed Kirin 655 Octa-Core processor. At the moment, only the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model is being offered in Malaysia and there’s still no sign of its higher spec 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant yet. It’s a dual-SIM device but microSD expansion utilises the phone’s hybrid 2nd SIM slot.

For imaging, it gets a dual-camera set up at the rear (12MP + 2MP) while the front gets an 8MP selfie camera. Keeping the lights on is a 3,440mAh battery which is charged via microUSB using a 5V/2A brick. Out of the box, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 and it will be upgradable to their newer EMUI 5.0 with Android 7.0 in Q2 this year. According to the pre-order listing, the expected delivery date is on this coming Friday, 17 February 2017. The honor 6X is available in 3 colours – Gray, Gold and Silver.

The first 50 pre-order customers will get an honor turbine earphone, honor casing and a RM100 petrol voucher. The honor 6X will also be available nationwide beginning this Friday at Vmall.my, DirectD, SenHeng and at honor’s concept store at Plaza Lowyat.
