Samsung Galaxy A 2017 now available in 2 new colours

The new Samsung Galaxy A series for 2017 is now available in two more colour options. When it was launched in Malaysia last month, it came only in either Black Sky and Gold Sand. If you’re looking for something different, you can now get the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 in Blue Mist or Peach Cloud options.

To recap, the Galaxy A5 (2017) is priced at RM1,699 while the bigger Galaxy A7 (2017) is listed at RM1,899. Unlike its previous generation, the new models for this year now come with IP68 dust and water resistance plus a reversible USB Type-C.

The Galaxy A5 (2017) gets a 5.2″ Full HD AMOLED display while the A7 (2017) is bigger with a 5.7″ unit that pushes the same resolution. Both runs on an Exynos 7880 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage. It also has expandable microSD slot which you can use together with 2 SIM cards at the same time.

For imaging, it has a 16MP f/1.9 camera for both front and back. In terms of battery, the Galaxy A5 (2017) gets a 3,000mAh unit while the A7 (2017) goes bigger with a 3,600mAh capacity unit. Both comes with Samsung’s Adaptive Fast Charge feature and it supports Samsung Pay once it is officially available in Malaysia.
