In the past few years, Huawei usually announces their wearables and tablets at Mobile World Congress. For the upcoming one that’s happening next month, the Chinese smartphone maker is expected to announce their latest flagship which is likely to be the P10.
Several members of the press have received invites for an event that’s taking place a day before MWC 2017. This could be their biggest showing yet at Barcelona as their previous flagships are often launched at a separate event. The current Huawei P9 was announced on 6 April 2016 and it went on sale in Malaysia on 28 May 2016.
The upcoming P10 is likely to run on their top of the line Kirin 960 processor which is the also powering the current Mate 9. Also expected is a pair of Leica co-engineered dual camera lens that’s likely to use a 20MP monochrome + 12MP colour combo.
Since Huawei is backing up Google Daydream VR, the new P-series flagship should finally be pushing a higher Quad HD resolution for better clarity. More shall be revealed next month, which isn’t too far away.
