The mid-range Moto M with 4GB RAM has arrived in Malaysia

Lenovo has quietly introduced its new Moto M mid-range smartphone in Malaysia. Announced earlier in China, the Moto M offers a 5.5″ Full HD display encased in an all-metal body.

The Moto M is running on a MediaTek Helio P15 Octa-Core processor which is newer than the usual Helio P10. It is mated to 4GB of RAM and has 32GB of storage which is expandable via microSD. Over at the back, it gets a 16MP f/2.0 camera that’s assisted by PDAF and dual-LED flash. Selfies, on the other hand, are taken with its front facing 8MP camera.

Taking a leaf out of Lenovo’s book, the Moto M also gets Dolby Atmos audio enhancement. There’s also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor that’s placed underneath its camera module. The Moto M is juiced up by a 3,050mAh battery and it uses USB Type-C. It isn’t waterproof but it is splashproof to withstand rain and accidental spills. The Moto M is officially priced at RM1,199 and it comes in gold and grey colours.
