Rent any movie on Google Play for only RM1.49

This is probably the best time to try out Google Movies. For a limited time, they are offering any movie for only RM1.49.

To redeem, just head over to the Google Play Store on your browser or on your mobile device. Click on the Movies/Books/Newsstand tab. You should see a “2016’s Hit Movies on Play” banner which you’ll need to click.

After accepting the offer, you can rent any movie titles (even in HD) for only RM1.49. The promo code will be applied upon check out. The library is quite decent and you can even watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens for only RM1.49 instead of its normal pricing of RM17 for HD rental. You can also watch it on the big screen with a Google Chromecast.

Take note that each user is entitled to one movie rental at RM1.49 and it isn’t transferable. Movie rentals will expire within 48 hours upon watching. To get started, head over to the Google Play Store.

If you get a warning that you can’t redeem the promo, you can go to Account > Rewards and then click on “Get Movie”. You must redeem by 23 January 2017.
