Samsung releases the Galaxy S7 edge in Black Pearl

Before Samsung reveals its next flagship, the Korean smartphone maker has announced yet another new colour variant of the Galaxy S7 edge. It’s called the Black Pearl which some say was released in response to the iPhone 7‘s Jet Black colour.

The Galaxy S7 edge was already glossy to begin with especially with the use of glass for the back. For the Black Pearl version, you get an all black appearance which somewhat looks like their earlier Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Editon. The only difference is that it lacks the batman logo and gold detailing.

In terms of specs, it is the same as regular S7 edge but it comes with a massive 128GB of storage instead of 32GB on-board. The Galaxy S7 edge in Black Pearl will be available beginning 9 December in selected markets. This is the 7th colour option which joins other existing colours namely White Pearl, Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium, Pink Gold and Blue Coral.
