LEAGOO has just announced a new budget smartphone that’s targeted for the selfie-centric crowd. Dubbed as the “best selfie partner”, the T1 Plus features 13MP cameras with flash illumination on both sides.
The LEAGOO T1 Plus is priced at RM699 and it comes with a 5.5″ HD 720p screen with a metal unibody design. Under the hood, it runs on a 1.3GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6737 processor with 3GB of RAM. On-board it gets 16GB of storage which is expandable via microSD up to 128GB. This is a 4G LTE device with a hybrid dual-SIM slot. In terms of 4G bands, it supports the usual FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) and 7 (2600MHz) but not Band 5 (850MHz) that’s utilised by webe.
Being a selfie-focused device, the front uses a 13MP Sony IMX219 sensor with a f/2.2 aperture lens that’s accompanied with a front LED flash light. To touch up your selfies, it comes bundled with its own beautify 4.0 software enhancement. The rear also gets the same Sony IMX 219 sensor with dual-LED flash and auto-focus. Below the camera is a fingerprint sensor at the rear which unlocks in any direction.
The T1 Plus currently runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with its LEAGOO OS 2.0 skin on top. Similar to MIUI 8, the custom OS allows you to log in multiple instant messaging accounts on the same device and it also gets added incognito mode for apps. Keeping the lights on is a 2,660mAh battery which is non-removable.
The LEAGOO T1 Plus comes in Champagne Gold, Rose Gold and Titanium Grey. It is available now on their online store and authorised dealers nationwide.
