Technology is obsessed with getting smaller. It happened to our phones, it happened to our laptops and now it’s happening to our printers. Meet the HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3775 — the world’s smallest inkjet all-in-one (AIO) printer.
Launched earlier today, this brand new printer from HP is seriously small. So small, in fact, that HP managed to fit the entire printer into the empty shell of their old printer.
It’s roughly the size of a shoebox (a little longer than a shoebox) and HP says that it’s half the size of the other inkjet AIO printers in its class. Since it’s an AIO printer, the DeskJet Ink Advantage 3775 is able to print, scan and copy documents. What’s more, it comes with wireless connectivity which makes it easy to print remotely via WiFi direct.
You can also download the HP All-in-One Remote (Android, iOS, Windows) to set up, manage and print from your mobile device too. Alternatively, you can also utilise HP’s Print Bot to print stuff via Facebook Messenger.
As far as performance is concerned, the new HP printer can print up to 8 pages per minute (ppm) in black and up to 5.5 ppm in colour. The printer uses HP 680 Ink Advantage cartridges that cost RM35 each (available in Black and Tri-Colour).
If you’re interested, the HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3775 is priced at RM379 and will come in three colours — Electric Blue (3775), Sea Grass Green (3776) and Cardinal Red (3777). The printer is available now.
