U Mobile offers the iPhone 7 on postpaid and prepaid iPlans

U Mobile has just revealed its iPhone 7 price plans with the device offered from as low as RM1,800 on their very own iPlan. There’s only a single 24-month contract duration and you can have it in either postpaid or prepaid option.

Like its current iPhone offering, U Mobile is bundling the latest 7 with its iPlan that ranges from RM40/month to RM130/month. The base i40 and i60 options give you 1.5GB and 3GB of data respectively which is accompanied with Video-ONZ that has the same amount of data quota.

For more demanding users, the i90 and i130 plans pack 7GB and 10GB of data respectively and they come with unlimited voice calls. The i90 plan gets 7GB of Video-ONZ streaming while the highest i30 option lets you enjoy unlimited Video-ONZ. Take note that the unlimited Video-ONZ video streaming feature has been extended until 31st December 2016.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on U Mobile would cost as follows:

iPhone 7 32GB
i40 – RM2,520
i60 – RM2,400
i90 – RM2,160

U Mobile would require an upfront payment between RM240-960 depending on plan during sign up which will be rebated back monthly across 24 months. So whichever plan you take, you would need to fork out RM2,760 upfront for the iPhone 7 32GB inclusive of upfront payment and RM3,260 for the iPhone 7 Plus. However the upfront payment can be waived if you sign up for auto debit billing with your credit card.

UPackage

If you don’t want to fork out a large sum upfront, U Mobile is also offering its UPackage, where you can pay for your phone and plan with 0% interest instalments on your credit card. This is applicable only on their higher i90 and i130 iPlans. You can refer to the UPackage page for more details.

U Microcredit

For those without a credit card, U Mobile is also offering its own full financing option where you can get an iPhone 7 from RM117/month. There’s no credit card or deposit required and you can take up flexible repayments up to 36 months with interest rates of about 1.1%-1.5% subject to approval. If you just need partial loan, you can choose your desired amount with Flexi U MicroCredit. To learn more, head over to U Mobile’s U MicroCredit page.
