Maxis opens iPhone 7 pre-order. Priced from RM1,630 with MaxisONE Plan

As the clock strikes 12, Maxis has started accepting pre-orders for the highly anticipated iPhone 7 in Malaysia. The full range of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models are offered on contract with a 24-hour delivery service while stocks last.

Maxis is bundling the latest iPhone 7 with their MaxisONE Plan 128 and above which comes with unlimited calls and SMS. The MaxisONE 128 plan (RM128/month) comes with 10GB of data, followed by the MaxisONE 158 (RM158/month) at 15GB. The highest plan on offer is their MaxisONE 188 (RM188/month) which comes with 20GB of data. You can also add-on a MaxisONE Share supplementary line at RM48/month, which also enjoys unlimited calls, SMS plus additional 5GB data into its shared data pool.

All plans are tied with a 24 month contract and Maxis requires an upfront payment of RM512 (MaxisONE 128), RM632 (MaxisONE 158) or RM752 (MaxisONE 188) during registration. This advance payment will be rebated back to your bill and it is waived for loyal Maxis customers. You’ll need to login to find out if you’re qualified for the advance payment waiver.

If you couldn’t book a free midnight express delivery slot on the 14th October, you can also opt for self-collection at participating Maxis outlets nationwide. Some of these centres are open at midnight on the 14th October and you can select your preferred pickup timeslot before you check out your order on the Maxis Online Store.

Strangely the iPhone 7 isn’t available on Zerolution yet, which offers hassle free phone swap every 12 months. The iPhone 6s was offered on Zerolution in December last year, and we expect them to offer it in the months to come.
