iPhone 7 lands in Malaysia on 14 October. Registration now open at U Mobile

This is it folks! If you’re waiting for the iPhone 7 to hit Malaysia, mark your calendars on Friday, 14th October 2016. U Mobile has officially started its registration of interest on the latest Apple smartphone and you can get it in two weeks time. Oddly enough, Apple has yet to make any official announcement for Malaysia. Apple Malaysia has also listed 14 October as the official release date for the iPhone 7.

As teased earlier, U Mobile will be offering the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with its U Package offering. This allows you to own the device with an all-in-one installment plan with 0% interest. Also available is U MicroCredit which lets you pay up to 36 months instalments.

To recap, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus now comes in 5 colours – Black, Jet Black, Gold, Silver and Rose Gold. Meanwhile, storage now comes in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB options. Do note however that the glossy Jet Black option is only available for 128GB and above. In terms of pricing, we expect the iPhone 7 to be priced outright as follows:

iPhone 7 32GB – RM3,199
iPhone 7 128GB – RM3,699
iPhone 7 256GB – RM4,199
iPhone 7 Plus 32GB – RM3,799
iPhone 7 Plus 128GB – RM4,299
iPhone 7 Plus 256GB – RM4,799

UPDATE: iPhone 7 Malaysian pricing confirmed.

To be among the first to own the iPhone 7, you can register your interest at U Mobile’s iPhone 7 page. U Mobile says that pre-orders will be starting soon.
