The water-cooled ASUS ROG GX800 gaming laptop is coming to Malaysia next week

ASUS’ ultimate gaming laptop, the ROG GX800 is finally making its way to Malaysia. This is the sequel to the insane GX700 gaming laptop that comes with a dedicated liquid cooling dock.

The GX800 is much improved over the GX700. It gets a larger 18.4″ UHD (3840×2160) display and dual GeForce GTX 1080 GPU. It still runs on an Intel Core i7 (6820HK) processor with up to 64GB of RAM and 512GB of PCIe SSD storage.

The ROG GX800 also gets a full-fledged MechTAG mechanical keyboard with RGB illumination. When connected to its Hydro overclocking system dock, it can be overclocked for a boost of performance while keeping things cool for the CPU and GPU. The laptop itself weighs 5.7kg while the cooling dock weighs 4.7kg. It’s so huge that it even comes with its own travel luggage.

The arrival of the GX800 coincides with the launch of the ASUS ROG Concept Store that’s located at the ground floor of Low Yat Plaza. Stay tuned as we will get more updates on its availability and pricing. The previous GX700 was priced at RM18,999 so expect a huge price tag for this one as well.
