ASUS ZenFone 3 Max is now available in Malaysia

Looking for an affordable smartphone that’s big on power? The latest ZenFone 3 Max is now on sale in Malaysia.

Priced at RM799, this is the most affordable offering from the latest ZenFone 3 range. It gets a 5.2″ HD 720p IPS display underneath a 2.5D glass. Powering the device is a Mediatek MT6737M Quad-Core processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. You can also expand storage further with microSD.

The biggest highlight is its larger 4,100mAh battery which boasts up to 18 hours of web browsing on WiFi or up to 87 hours on music playback. You can also use it as a powerbank via USB OTG cable. The battery capacity on this model is smaller than the previous Max which had an even larger 5,000mAh capacity.

At the back, you’ll also find a fingerprint sensor which unlocks in any angle under 0.3 seconds. Taking pictures are handled by its 13MP rear camera which is capable of producing 52MP shots in super-resolution mode. Over at the front, it gets a 5MP main camera with real- time beautification mode. The ASUS ZenFone 3 Max also supports dual-SIMs with 4G LTE. Out of the box, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ASUS ZenUI 3.0 skin on top.
