The Mi Max isn’t sold through the Malaysian Mi Store but you can get one outright without contract from Yes. This is Xiaomi’s largest phablet yet with a gigantic 6.44″ display.
Priced at RM999, you’re getting the Mi Max base model which comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable onboard storage. To recap on the specs, the front 6.44″ display is a full HD unit and under the hood, it runs on a Snapdragon 650 processor which is quite similar to the Redmi Note 3.
It features a 16MP f/2.0 + 5MP f/2.0 camera combos, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a large 4,850mAH capacity battery. Like the Redmi Note 3, it also has a hybrid dual-SIM slot. If you get your Mi Max from Yes, they are also bundling a free prepaid starter pack plus a RM30 reload.
