senQ offers the honor 8 starting 8th September

The honor 8 is launching in Malaysia tomorrow but retailer senQ has jumped the gun by revealing its offers early. From their Facebook post, senQ will be offering the high spec version which comes with extra 1-year warranty plus additional gifts worth RM498 for the first 15 units.

The high-spec honor 8 is listed at RM1,899 which matches the pre-order offer we’ve seen earlier. It comes with 4GB RAM and a generous 64GB of on-board storage. To recap, the honor 8 is a rather compact flagship smartphone with a 5.2″ Full HD display and it is encased in 2.5D glass on both ends.

It is powered by a Kirin 950 processor and it features a dual 12MP f/2.2 main camera set up plus a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles up as an action key. The front gets an 8MP f/2.4 selfie shooter that boasts larger 1.4-micron pixel size. Keeping the lights on is a 3,000mAh battery which supports fast charging with its USB Type-C port. This is a dual-SIM device and it will support both TDD and FT-LTE bands along with VoLTE.

For the first 15 units on senQ, they are offering an honor Band SS worth RM399 plus a protective cover worth RM99. An 0% interest payment plan is also available at RM79.13/month for 24 months. The honor 8 offer is available only at the following outlets nationwide:

Apart from the high-spec model, honor Malaysia will be releasing a lower spec version that comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB of storage. From what we’ve seen, the lower spec option is going to be priced at RM1,699. We’ll be there at the honor 8 launch, so stay tuned to us for more details.
