Webe’s 4G LTE service is now live, but…

After a long wait, Webe’s mobile network services are finally live and commercially available. The catch is that these services will only be offered to selected TM and Webe customers in the Klang Valley and Johor Bahru.

Webe will be rolling out exclusive invitations to TM and Webe’s “loyal customers” based on coverage availability starting today, the 30th of June 2016. For those who are not eligible for the invitation, the full public release of Webe’s 4G services will be announced later this year.

Considering the fact that today marks the official launch of Yes’ 4G LTE network, one has to wonder if this move by Webe is in reaction to Yes’ launch.
