Wiko launches three new devices for the budget smartphone buyer

Wiko made quite the splash when they released their first trio of smartphones. They were affordable and packed reasonable specifications for their price point.

Now, the company is looking to shake things up even more with three more smartphones — the Wiko Robby, Wiko uFeel and Wiko uFeel Lite.

All three of these smartphones come in below RM700 so if you’re on a budget, your choice of smartphones just got wider. What’s more, these smartphones are designed to fit into a certain niche in the smartphone market.

Boasting great entertainment capabilities, the Wiko Robby sports a pair of front-facing stereo speakers flanking a 5.5-inch HD display. Inside, it’s powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired to 1GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage that you can expand via a microSD card.

For camera optics, it gets an 8MP/5MP camera combo and will be powered by a 2,300 2,500 mAh battery. Wiko’s Robby will also come running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with 3G connectivity support.

Wiko’s next two devices emphasise security as they’re two of the most affordable smartphones you can get with a fingerprint sensor.

uFeel is higher spec duo packing a 5-inch HD display, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. It also gets a 13MP/5MP camera combo.

uFeel Lite is, as the name would suggest, a lighter version of the uFeel. As a result, it gets a watered down quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM alongside an 8MP/5MP camera combo. The other specs remain the same.

The good news is that both uFeel phones have relatively large 2,500 mAh battery capacities along with dual-SIM 4G LTE connectivity. Both will also come running Android Marshmallow out of the box.

If you’re interested, all three smartphones are now on sale online exclusively through 11street and offline at all authorised dealers. The Robby will be priced at RM449, the uFeel will go for RM699 while the uFeel Lite will retail for RM569.
