Like we promised, more leaks have crept out from the sanctum that is Samsung HQ. A new image captured shows off specifications on the last three evolutions of the Galaxy S-line – including the upcoming Galaxy S7.

Though, it’s nothing that we didn’t already know (from rumours). The slide suggests that the Galaxy S7 will front a 5.1-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display. It also states the two processor variants that has been heard many times: Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 and the home-grown Exynos 8890.

Also seen on the slide are the smartphone’s camera credentials – the rear only which is listed as a 12-megapixel BRITECELL sensor. They’ve dropped the 16 to 12 but apparently the new sensor takes care of low-light pictures better as it is larger to absorb more light.

There will also be a steady increase in RAM with the Galaxy S7 slated to get 4GB. When considering how the device itself looks, it appears to be a placeholder. So maybe this leak could have been intentional? ‘Cause if you think about it, almost every Samsung flagship in recent times have fully leaked even before the actual launch.

Sidetracking a bit, @evleaks aka Evan Blass has been busy providing more information on what the Galaxy S7 could offer. And to recap, he has mentioned that the upcoming flagship will be rated IP67 for water resistance and dust proofing, feature a microSD slot and arrive with bigger batteries. A notorious leaker with a great reputation, Blass says that the aforementioned specs are all “confirmed”. But we’ll not jump the gun just yet.

MWC is about to hit us really hard in the next three weeks and we’re gearing up for the storm.

Let us know what you think of these leaks. Are they substantial? Drop us a comment below.
