Meizu M2 Note arrives in Malaysia this week. Full HD 5.5″ phablet priced below RM800

Meizu is a quirky Chinese smart phone brand that offers a different kind of Android experience with its FlymeOS. If you’re looking for something really different, the Meizu M2 Note will be available officially in Malaysia starting this Thursday, 23rd July exclusively on Lazada.

It retails at RM799 but you can get it at only RM699 during its exclusive period through Lazada Malaysia. In addition, they are also giving away a free M2 Note back Case and Tempered glass protection. At the moment, only the 16GB storage version of the M2 Note is being offered and it comes only in Grey colour with limited stocks available.

The Meizu M2 Note succeeds its former M1 Note but it retains the similar design and iPhone 5C-like colourful appearance. At the front, it gets a 5.5″ Full HD display and now it gets a physical home button which apparently can differentiate soft and hard presses. Under the hood, it gets a newer MediaTek 64-bit Octa-Core MT6753 processor that’s mated to 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. This is a 4G LTE Dual-SIM device that comes with 2 nano-SIM slots. If you need more storage, the 2nd sim slot can be used for microSD expansion up to 128GB.

For taking pictures, it gets a 13MP main camera with dual-tone LED flash while selfies are taken with its 5MP front shooter. Keeping the lights on is a non-removable 3,100mAh capacity battery from Sony and overall it weighs 149 grams with a thickness of 8.7mm. Out of the box, it runs on their proprietary Flyme 4.5 OS that’s based on Android 5.1 Lollipop underneath.

If you’re interested, the first sale is happening on Lazada on 23rd July at 12PM. For more info, you can check out the Meizu M2 Note product page.
