The Redmi 2 Enhanced is landing this 16th July for RM 459

Mi Malaysia has just announced that the Redmi 2 Enhanced version will begin sale in Malaysia this Thursday starting 12PM, for RM 459 on Mi.com. It will be available in 2 colours – Dark Grey and White.

The device is literally hot on the heels of the rather popular Redmi 2 which went on sale this March, with a permanent price cut that went into effect earlier this month. For those looking for a better Redmi 2, this is the ticket.

In terms of specs, it still has a lot in common with the Redmi 2. For starters it gets the same 4.7″ IPS HD 720p display, Qualcomm 1.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 processor, Dual-SIMs with 4G LTE support, 8MP main + 2MP front cameras along with a removable 2,200mAh capacity battery.

The only difference here is you get 2GB RAM as opposed to the original’s 1GB and on-board expandable storage has been given a bump up from 8GB to 16GB. If you’re still hungry for space, the phone will handle additional storage up to 32GB via its microSD slot.

The device will go on sale at 12PM this 16th July in both White and Dark Grey variants so head on over to mi.com if you don’t want to miss out.
