OPPO kicks off R7 Plus pre-order with RM0 deposit and extra perks

The OPPO R7 Plus is their latest phablet offering that was recently launched in Malaysia for RM1,998. To secure a unit for yourself, OPPO is starting its pre-orders tomorrow, 11th July until 10th of August 2015. In their past pre-orders, usually you would need to place a deposit but now they are offering RM0 down payment if you pre-order online. In addition, they are also giving away VOOC Car Charger worth RM148 and a 50% discount voucher for your future servicing needs.

The RM0 pre-order deposit is only applicable if you register online. You can also pre-order at OPPO’s authorised outlets but you would need to place a RM100 deposit in order to secure a unit.

Regardless of where you pre-order, you’ll receive a 50% OPPO Care Service Discount Voucher. According to them, this service voucher works as an insurance for your device and they will reveal more info at a later time. The VOOC Car Charger will be given to the first 1,000 customers that pre-order for both online and offline channels. Apart from OPPO’s own website, they have also appointed Lazada and 11street as their exclusive online pre-order channel. The OPPO R7 Plus will be available in early August.

To recap on the specs, the R7 Plus is a 6″ device with a Full HD screen and it runs on a 1.5GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor. It gets 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage which is expandable with microSD. It supports 4G LTE with dual-SIM slots and for imaging it gets a 13MP main camera and a front facing 8MP shooter. The battery is huge with a 4,100mAh capacity battery and it also comes with a fingerprint scanner mounted at the back.

Out of the box, the R7 Plus runs on their newly improved ColorOS 2.1 that’s based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. For the Malaysian market, the R7 Plus with its unibody metal design is available only in gold colour. For further reading, you can check out our OPPO R7 series first impressions.
