The ASUS Zenfone 2 could be getting Android 5.1 very soon

It looks like the ASUS Zenfone 2 ZE550ML will be getting Android 5.1 Lollipop very soon, as the update has entered its final stages of testing before it gets rolled out to the respective device. Its about time too, considering a whole heap of devices are already supporting the latest Android update.

This was discovered by Zenfone 2 user Indrajeet, who got the information directly from ASUS via the ASUS Support App where support confirmed that the update is undergoing final testing. Its a bit weird that the update is headed for the lower end versions of the device first, but it can’t be too long till the rest of the family will get a taste of Lollipop for themselves.

In the meantime, why not check out our review of the ASUS Zenfone 2.
